(She) grew up surrounded by family supportive of the arts and cultivated her creative, empathic soul at an early age.
Her favorite classes were always English and Art. After drawing all over her walls, photoshopping herself into pictures of One Direction, and studying Fine Arts in high school, she attended SUNY Purchase. During her time there, she worked in photography, design, sound, TV and video production, non-profit event planning, freelance artistry, and being an old soul. Graduating with a BA in New Media with a minor in Psychology and concentrations in Arts Management, she moved into teaching and marketing.
Currently working as Director of Education at the historic Alice Austen House, she teaches photography courses in women's history, immigration, LGBTQ+ identity, portraiture, and more. She also works as a freelance designer, photographer, video editor, marketing consultant, and probably a few more things by the time she updates this page again...
She is a lover of tea, TV, (parenthesis), and the oxford comma.
